Concert, Saturday 14 September, 16:00, in aid of travel to Taizé Conference

St Michael’s Marimbas, Leopard’s Voice, Cathedral Choir directed by Cameron Luke, pianist Bayanda Mthetho and more! Free entry, retiring collection towards sponsoring 10 young adults to attend the Taize Conference in Cape Town from 25 September.

Taizé Pilgrimage, 25 – 29 September, Cape Town

The brothers from Taizé in partnership with churches in South Africa will be hosting a nationwide youth event (ages 18 – 35 years), the Taizé Pilgrimage of Trust on Earth, in Cape Town from 25 – 29 September (Government school holidays). Accommodation and meals will be provided. The cost is R250 per person. More details are available on their Facebook page “Taize Cape Town 2019” Those interested please speak to the Dean or our Youth Intern, Tandiwe Gabavana. The Dean writes “I hope very much indeed that we shall send a significant number of young people to this event. Visit of Blackheath Church choir, Sunday 13 October

The Choir of Holy Nativity Church, Blackheath, Cape Town, directed by Dr Ashley Petersen, will be visiting us on Sunday 13 October. They will sing at the Sung Eucharist at 09:30, and at Choral Evensong at 17:00. More details…
